A 16 year old is facing charges after an incident in Fergus.
On April 17th at around 12pm, Wellington County OPP were called about a disturbance on Scotland Street involving several youth.
Police arrived resulting in the arrest of a 16 year old of Fergus who was charged with Assault with a Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose.
There was no reported injuries in the incident and is believed to be isolated and no further threat to public safety.
The accused will appear in Guelph court at a later date.
