$1 million has been donated to the Groves Hospital Foundation, coming off a promise made in 2016.
New to You Fergus, a thrift store owned by the Groves Hospital Volunteer Association a decade ago made a commitment to raise $1 million in 10 years in support of the hospital who recently got a final contribution of $200,000 in to reach the milestone.
Volunteers voted upon reaching the goal on how the funds would be used where it was decided to support 2 pediatric scopes for the OR, fetal monitors for obstetrics and an endoscopy video tower imprinter and generator.
