Wellington County announced today that the Oak Glen neighbourhood at Wellington Terrace Long Term Care has been placed in Covid-19 outbreak by Public Heath.
The move was taken after four residents tested positive for the virus. They add that all residents are experiencing mild symptoms and no employee cases are connected to the outbreak.
Wellington Terrance employees are rapid testing more frequently than the current Ministry requirement they state. All visitors are rapid tested as they enter the home.
If no additional cases are found, the outbreak will be declared over on Friday, April 8th.
