The Wellington County OPP is investigating a fatal collision in the Township of Wellington North.
Constable Josh Cunningham shared news that around 1pm a serious collision occurred on Highway 6.
Emergency services responded to the report of the two-vehicle collision.
Both drivers were seriously injured and transported to hospital.
They report a 48-year-old woman of Mount Forest succumbed to her injuries.
A 46-year-old man of Mount Forest, the other driver, was airlifted to a trauma centre.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the OPP or anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
