Body cameras have now been equipped for Wellington County OPP officers.
After a successful roll out of In Car Cameras which incorporated the Automated Licence Plate Recognition System, Wellington County OPP along with other West Region detachments will be getting body cameras for every officer.
These cameras are placed on the front of the officers vest and visible to anyone an officer could be interacting with.
The roll out for these cameras is expected to done as soon as practicable.
