Wellington North council has proclaimed September to be Crime Stoppers Month in the township.
The proclamation by council on September 8th also matches the 49th anniversary of the founding of the Crime Stoppers organization with Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington formed in 1988.
Mayor Andy Lennox says they deeply value the dedication and impact of Crime Stoppers Guelph Wellington and their efforts have not only helped reunite residents with stolen property but also played a crucial role in holding offenders accountable.
