Wellington County Employees to Keep Masking Up Until April 1st

While the mask mandate is set to be lifted on March 21^st, County of Wellington employees will be still be masking up for the remainder of the month.

County spokesperson Andrea Ravnesdale saying staff will continue to wear masks until April 1^st to allow for a buffer from March Break travel.

From the township level, masks will become optional past March 21^st including in Minto, Mapleton, Wellington North and Centre Wellington.

Mapleton Mayor Gregg Davidson says if residents don’t feel safe without a mask then they should put one on.
