A native of Oxford County really left a memorable impact on the Jeopardy game show yesterday.

Scott Shewfelt, formerly of Tavistock and a former student at Waterloo Oxford Secondary School came up short on his third episode on the popular game show.

The episode was hosted last night by Green Bay Packers Quarterback Aaron Rodgers. With the game out of reach on the night Shewfelt used his final Jeopardy question to ask Rogers “who wanted to kick that field goal”.

It harkens back to the NFC Championship Game in January between the Packers and Bucs where Packers Head Coach Matt LaFleur decided to go for 3 points instead of allowing Rodgers to try for a touchdown with 2 point conversion to potentially tie the game.

Rodgers responded with a laugh and a smile but informed Shewfelt was incorrect. He ended his 3 day run with just over $ 48,000 in winnings.
