4 people have been charged after an attempted break in in Harriston.
On November 3rd at around 6am, Wellington County OPP responded to a break in on Arthur Street West after it was reported individuals attempted to break into a home.
Police were able to locate the suspects and take a firearm.
A 40 year old of Brockton, 29 year old of Priceville and two 28 year olds from Owen Sound have all been charged with slew of offences including;
· Possession of Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
· Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was Firearm
· Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
· Carrying Concealed Weapon
· Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
· Mischief – Destroys or Damages Property
· Break, Enter a Dwelling House with Intent to Commit Indictable Offence
· Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number Has Been Tampered With
All were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
