Stratford Council Not Yet Returning to In Person Meetings

Stratford council isn’t much closer to returning to in person meetings yet.

Council has decided they won’t be making the return until likely sometime next month when the elevator at City Hall is expected to be repaired.

The company hired on the make the fix will also need it to be certified once its complete.

Stratford council has not met in person since the start of the pandemic and is among those still meeting virtually as most councils have returned back to the chambers.

An idea to hold in person meetings at the Stratford Rotary Complex was discussed but there was costs of up to $5000 due to hiring a contractor for sound and broadcasting.
