A 22 year old has been charged after going over 50km the posted limit.
On July 9th at around 8:15pm, Wellington County OPP was performing proactive enforcement when a vehicle was seen going at a high rate of speed on Wellington Road 21 in Centre Wellington.
As a result, a 23 year old of Waterloo was charged with Speeding 50km Over a Posted Limit, Stunt Driving and Failure to Surrender Insurance.
The accused was given a 14 day vehicle impoundment, licence suspended for 30 days and given a future court date.
