The Rural Women’s Support Program has marked 40 years.
For the last four decades, the program has supported women across Wellington County who have experienced abuse, violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, harassment and stalking.
The Town of Minto, who hold a local office for the support program in Palmerston says they are grateful to have this service available in the community and to those who have helped build and sustain this vital program over the last 40 years.
The free services offered help individuals make informed choices about their safety while offering counseling, advocacy and connections to other supports.
