As part of Seaforth’s 2025 Homecoming rolling in for the August long weekend, an initiative as part of the festivities has kicked off today.

The Shop the Road Home promotion has now gotten underway which will run until August 21st with over 50 Huron East businesses getting involved.

Those who spend $20 at these local businesses can get a sticker to fill out a passport and get the chance to win local shopping sprees.

Taralyn Cronin, Economic Development Officer for Huron East says this program is a great way to get out and support local.

“It’s a great way to shop local and support those businesses that are here for us and right in our community. It’s definitely convenient to go and shop at.” said Cronin.

The Seaforth 150 Homecoming kicks off on July 31st running until August 4th.
