A report is heading to Wellington County’s Roads Committee tomorrow regarding a pollinator planting trail on the County right of way at two locations.
One on McNamara Tract on Wellington Road 16 with another on Cumnock Tract on Wellington Road 17.
Staff say the benefits of this is doing future planting locations across the County road network including lower long term maintenance costs, water and snow capture and roadside aesthetics.
Planting of these trial locations is set sometime in the fall.
