The Provincial Government declared a state of emergency for Ontario and a corresponding stay at home order starting at midnight tonight.
The order is to last a minimum of 4 weeks and shutters all walk-in in-store shopping for non-essential business.
Big box stores will be restricted to selling only groceries, household cleaning supplies and pharmacy items.
Wireless stores, car dealers, optical stores, rental, leasing and safety supply stores will be allowed in-store shopping by appointment.
Restaurants and all non-essential business will be permitted curbside pickup and delivery.
Hours will be limited for non-essential businesses to 7am until 8pm.
Garden Centres will be allowed to remain open but only at 25 percent capacity.
