If you or someone you know is interested in exploring a career in the trades there is a program tailed to that.
The Technical Training Group’s Manufacturing Pre-Apprenticeship Multiple Trades Exposure Program are tuition free programs that will be offered in Clinton, Stratford and Listowel this April, July or September.
The program includes 25 weeks of 2 to 3 days per week training in the evening.
The areas covered are welding and metal fabrication and also machining.
Plus once you are done you get a paid 8 week placement with a local employers.
Space is limited.
Applicants must be 18 years or older, un or under employed and must possess a OSSD or GED.
Deadlines to apply are April 21st for Clinton, July 2nd for Stratford and September 3rd for Listowel.
