Premier Ford Expected to Announce Province Wide Stay-At-Home Orders

Restrictions would be similar to that during 2nd lockdown

It’s expected later Premier Doug Ford will announce a province wide stay-at-home order today.

Ford reportedly has approved a plan to impose restrictions similar to lockdown in December. Non essential retail would be forced to close, only limited to curbside pickup.

Grocery stores and pharmacies can stay open while big box stores would only be allowed to sell grocery and pharmacy essentials. Garden centres will be allowed to stay open.

There aren’t any details regarding schooling with stay-at-home orders.

The order would take effect at 12:01am on Thursday.
