Wellington County OPP are investigating the death of a resident who was found at the bottom of the Elora Gorge Wednesday morning.
OPP closed off the St David Street Bridge on February 22nd at around 8:45am with police saying they were responding to a injured person.
Police found a person lying along the Irvine River in the gorge with a 70 year old Elora resident removed from the gorge but pronounced deceased.
Police are working with the Office of the Chief Coroner for investigation.
