With warmer weather, many are now busting out the motorcycles and hitting the roads.
This year so far, OPP have responded to 4 fatal motorcycle collisions this year. Excessive speed contributed to two of the deaths. OPP remind bike riders and drivers alike to ensure safe practices.
Motorcyclists are reminded the impact winters can have on the roads and to be aware of any new potholes or cracks which can make your lose control and to avoid any leftover sand a gravel which can cause a bike to slide.
For drivers, be aware of any motorcycles before changing lanes and ensure you can see a rider in your blind spots.
