With parents being given the option for in person instruction or online returning in the fall, numbers show most Avon Maitland District School Board students will be back for in person learning.
Enrollment for online learning heading into the next school is down nearly 70 percent according to AMDSB Director of Education Lisa Walsh.
With around 15,500 students enrolled across all schools only about 279 so far will be staying with remote learning.
Walsh says she believes the reasons for more increase for in person instruction is a combination of increased vaccination, online fatigue and being able to see peers in person again at school.
