On August 9th just before 10am, Perth County OPP was called to a parking lot of a local business on Mitchell Road South in Listowel after a vehicle was caught in a minor collision causing property damage.
An investigation was initiated and a Standard Field Sobriety Test was conducted resulting in the driver being arrested. As a result at 29 year old of Tiverton has been charged with Operation While Impaired, Possession of a Cocaine and Possession of Methamphetamine.
The accused was given a 90 day driving suspension and seven day vehicle impoundment.
The passenger of the vehicle was also arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
Both will appear in Stratford court at a later date
