The Town of Minto will be placing a precautionary boil water advisory as of May 6th as the town continues to work on the Minto Pines Water Well House project.
The town says the project has included the drilling of a new production well and now the well needs to be commissioned for use and the old existing well needs to be taken out of service.
The boil water advisory for Minto Pines will be in effect for around two weeks or until the work is complete.
The advisory is affected to water used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth and washing food.
