The Lake Conestogo Snowmobilers Club is looking to be recognized by Mapleton for its contributions to the community by offering hall rentals for free.
The township has 20 service groups who can rent the halls and boardrooms for free which includes sports clubs, the Kinsmen and 100 Women Who Care.
The snowmobilers club spoke with council earlier this month chatting about their contributions to the community during its 50 year history.
Council was in favour of having the club recognized and a review of the full list of exemption groups will be looked at in May.
