A 20 year old from Stratford has been arrested after an incident in Waterloo.
Police say they responded to the area of King Street North and University Avenue East on Monday just before midnight for a stolen GMC pickup truck.
The driver tried to flee from police but ended up crashing with a cruiser and then fled on foot. The man was arrested after a short chase.
There were no injuries reported in the crash.
The 20 year faces charges of Theft of a Motor Vehicle, Flight from Police and Assaulting an Officer.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
