Fire stations across the area have been pouring out their condolences and solidarity with the Mapleton Fire Department who lost a member earlier this week.
A Drayton man, Evan Roberston died in an accident this week, a member with the Mapleton Fire/Rescue.
The department in a statement says Robertson had only been with the crew for two years but his commitment was undeniable who showed up consistently and reliably.
Flags at fire stations across Mapleton are being flown at half mast in honour of Robertson.
