Stratford Police are investigating the sale of fraudulent garbage tags across the city.
Photos shared by police show the tags in question which come off as real but unlike actual garbage tags, these ones do not have a serial number with some reports of these tags being seen for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
Police say there are multiple variety stores, gas stations and grocery stores which carry the tags as well as from City Hall.
