Perth-Wellington MP John Nater is calling on anyone aged 17-35 to become a life saver and sign up the Canada’s National Stem Cell Registry.
Nater continues to show his support for two year old Claire of Mitchell who is battling Leukemia. Claire is preparing for a bone marrow transplant as Nater says the support he’s seen for Claire has been truly amazing.
“I am so proud of how the community has come together to support Claire and her family during this difficult time.” said Nater
Nater added while he loves to see the community shine for Claire, he wants to see the support go further.
“By signing up for Canada’s National Stem Cell Registry, you could be that match for Claire or you could change the life of a stranger and bring renewed hope to their family.”
To sign up for the stem cell registry visit Blood.ca/Match4Claire and a swab kit will be mailed to you with instructions and how to return it for testing.
