The Municipality of Huron East has adopted its 2026 municipal budget.
The budget has a number of $12,387,401 in taxation revenue this year, a 4.4 per cent increase of 2025 or $521,712 in additional levy.
The budget outline looks how the municipality will fund programs, services and infrastructure over the coming year, supporting everyday services residents rely on such as road maintenance, recreation, protection services and community facilities.
The final property tax impact for residents will also depend on the County of Huron’s finalized budget and tax rates which haven’t been adopted yet.
