With almost 200 animals in their care at both the Stratford and Kitchener centres, the Humane Society of Kitchener-Waterloo & Stratford Perth is hosting a same day, walk in adoption event this Wednesday.
The humane society continues to urge the community to consider adoption of become a foster parent as they try to deal with another 63 animals on their surrender list waiting for help.
Fosters are in dire need across the Stratford-Perth area.
The adoption event will be held from 12-7:30pm at both Kitchener and Stratford with no appointments needed.
Adoption fees will be reduced for some adult dogs and cats.
