The Heritage North Perth committee is holding an event in a few weeks, all around preserving stories and planning.

The committee, as part of the North Perth Arts and Heritage Collective is hosting Christi Hudson from the Huron County Museum looking over at preserving stories, learning the essentials of planning, interviewing and transcribing life stories.

Kate Tervit, Member of the North Perth Heritage Committee says they have plenty down the road for planning includes a hopeful introduction of walking tours.

“One of our larger projects is we’re hoping on revising the historic walking tour of Listowel which features houses and buildings with historic significance. Maybe not just architecturally but perhaps stories of people and businesses that were in that building at one time So that’s our next project, to revise that walking tour.” said Tervit.

The event is being held April 21st at 7pm at the Victorian Inn & Spa and is free to attend but donations to the committee are appreciated.
