Orders are now available for Wellington County’s Green Legacy program.
The free tree seedling program is open for eligible county residents with a variety of native trees to pick from.
Over the last 20 years, the program has been well recognized and has seen over 3 million Green Legacy trees be planted across the area.
The program all began in 2004 as an idea to plant 150,000 trees to celebrate the county’s 150th anniversary and now has now grown to the largest municipal tree planting program in North America.
