Farmers Markets across Wellington County are launching a new campaign, highlighting how the price of seasonal goods compare to the prices at major grocery stores.
The Farmers Market Price Check is an effort across each County farmers market where each week one market will feature an item available from a local vendor and compare its price to the average advertised price at major grocery stores the same week.
The campaign is all around providing shoppers a snapshop of what is in season, what local goods cost and the value the farmers markets offer.
