OPP are looking into an assault in Erin.
On June 2nd at around 6:15pm, Wellington County OPP were called to a roadside assault near Fifth Line and Wellington Road 50.
It was reported the victim pulled over to help the suspect on the side of the road when an altercation broke out and the victim was assaulted.
The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.
The victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The suspect is described as a black man, between 6’0 to 6’2 tall with a stocky build, patchy stubble beard and curly hair with shaved sides, dreadlock style and wearing a thick gold chain, work style gloves and earrings.
The vehicle in question is said to be an older model dark grey Honda Accord or Civic between the 1980’s-90s, an oversized exhaust attached with minor damage to the driver side bumper.
