The Durham Emergency Department closed suddenly this morning due to staffing shortages.
The ED will remain closed for the day reopening at 7am on Friday.
More closures are still expected across the South Bruce Grey Health Centre heading into the weekend which includes the Chesley Emergency Department staying closed until October 2nd at 7am and the Durham ED closing starting on Friday at 5pm and reopening on Saturday at 7am.
Ambulances still remain available and will re-route to the nearest open emergency department.
