The City of Stratford is reminding residents to use extra caution when in school zones and school crossings as well as patience in construction zones.
Drivers and cyclists must stop when a crossing guard is out displaying their stop sign and all pedestrians have cleared the roadway.
Drivers are asked to slow down, watch for children and changing traffic conditions and allow for extra travel time when going through school zones and construction areas.
The city understands the frustrations of detours that road construciton can bring but the patience is appreciated.
