The Humane Society of Kitchener-Waterloo & Stratford-Perth is launching a fundraiser to support a dog’s fight for a second chance.
Three year old Audrey arrived at the Humane Society in June with six newborn puppies.
Audrey was diagnosed with heartworm, Lyme disease and multiple fractured teeth.
While nursing and caring for her puppies, Audrey underwent surgery, dental procedures and medical treatment starting a months long journey to recover.
Medical costs are expected to reach around $8500 and the humane society has worked with Nala & Co Apparel to create a limited edition collection inspired by Audrey’s story.
A portion of proceeds from every purchase will directly support Audrey’s medical care and recovery.
