Huron-Perth Public Health is asking residents to remember about their 2nd doses for their COVID-19 vaccine.
As more shipments continue to arrive locally and eligibility is ramping up, in most cases those who received a vaccine not too long ago will already soon be eligible for their 2nd dose.
In a release, Dr. Miriam Klassen, Chief Medical Officer of Health for Huron-Perth saying Two doses of vaccine, either from the same vaccine or from a combined Pfizer and Moderna series, provide safe and highly effective protection against the COVID-19 virus and variants, including the highly transmissible Delta variant.”
Around 74.4% of residents have received their first dose
