Minto Residents Reminded of Off-Road Bylaw

Mayor Bridge says to call police if they see illegal activity

Minto Deputy Mayor Dave Turton says he’s hearing concerns from citizens about off road vehicles on Minto roads.

Turton saying he’s received many calls and people stopping him in the street to talk about the bylaw which was put in effect a few months ago.

Many complaints are coming from off road vehicles who aren’t adhering to the new bylaw in place such as driving them on sidewalks in Minto. This is illegal, other than for the reason to cross from private property to highway.

Minto Mayor George Bridge is reminding residents if those on off road vehicle drivers are doing illegal things to call police just like any other crime.
