Dolly Parton Imagination Library Grows Into North Perth

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library has expanded into the North Perth Public Library.

Helped run by the Friends of the North Perth Public Library, the Imagination Library is a free book gifting program to inspire a love of reading for young children.

The program requires a local community partner to run the program, promote it and find kids to enroll in and secure funding.

Needing to bring in a fundraising target of $30,000 per year to ensure the long term success of the program, Stacey Ash with Friends of the North Perth Public Library says they are beyond thrilled for who has stepped up as their first sponsor.

“We are incredibly proud to welcome the Corey and Mallory Conners Family Fund as the kickoff sponsor of $7500. Corey is a top Canadian golfer in the PGA, a local pride and joy. Mallory is trained as an elementary school teacher and is a strong supporter of early literacy and we’re delighted to have them on board.” said Ash.

Those interested in signing up their child at no cost with the North Perth program can do so from the Imagination Library website.
