A 1-1 weekend for the Listowel Cyclones who open up the GOJHL season.
The Cyclones couldn’t hang on the road who drop their opener 5-3 to the Stratford Warriors.
Listowel would host on Saturday night and scored twice in the 1st period but watched the Warriors claw back eventually going back and forth and needing overtime.
Brady Smith shined for Listowel who scored his 1st of the campaign with Dixon Grimes making 32 saves in the win.
