There was no risk to students after an investigation by OPP at Palmerston Public School.
On April 30th at around 11am, Wellington County OPP were called to the school involving an undischarged bullet for a firearm was found by a student on school grounds.
Police arrived, secured the item and began a search of the area.
Officers say there is no information to suggest ongoing risk to students, staff or the broader community but police take the nature of these incidents seriously.
Officers continue to work with the school and school board and to avoid speculation will not be releasing further details at this time.
