Applications are now open for scholarships with the Grand River Conservation Foundation.
The McEwen Clean Water prize, valued at $5000 is given to a student in their second, third or fourth year of post secondary operating within the Grand River watershed, focusing on the protection, development and restoration of clean water resources.
The Allan Holmes Scholarship will give a graduate level student $4000 who is focused on applied research in the field of resource management.
The scholarship honours CAO Allan Holmes who held the role from 1991-2000.
The deadline to apply for both scholarships is July 10th.
