The Organizers of the 6th Annual Anderson Community Christmas Dinner says the reasons behind it are simple, offer a place for seniors or those that live alone to have a dinner with others.
Jean Anderson, who is a Town of Minto Councillor and a Registered Nurse decided to give back to the community when she was recovering from cancer. She and her husband have been hosting the dinner ever since.
The event they host takes place Christmas Day in Palmerston at the Community Centre.
Dinners are available to be picked up, delivered or there will be an in-person sitting at 1pm on December 25th.
