A 60 year old has been charged stemming from a crash last month in Arthur.
On April 9th the crash between a pedestrian and their dog involving a tractor trailer took place when the pedestrian tried crossing Highway 6.
The tractor was heading northbound and tried turning right when the pedestrian was hit.
The victim was taken to a trauma centre with serious but non life threatening injuries and the dog deceased.
On May 26th a 60 year old of Markdale was charged with Careless Driving Causing Bodily Harm and Failure to Yield to Pedestrian.
The accused will appear in Guelph court at a later date.
