On Thursday, the city was able to reach an agreement with gardeners at 45 Franklin Drive to allow the use of the city owned community garden for the 2026 growing season.
The decision to terminate the previous lease was an administrative decision at the CAO level, not one made by city council with the city having responded to several concerns on the fairness of how the city asset has been managed with it stated this is shared responsibility, no the fault of a single individual.
