Those who didn’t pull over for emergency vehicles from the shed fire in Palmerston have paid the price.

Perth County OPP on July 27th charged 6 drivers in North Perth who failed to move over or slow down for an emergency vehicle.

OPP say this comes with a $495 fine and 3 demerit points on their licence.

OPP say the consequences could have been far worse as those who don’t pull over delay Police, Firefighters and EMS to respond to calls where every second matters to them.

OPP say whenever you see emergency lights on with sirens you must slow down and be prepared to move to the shoulder so they can pass safely.
