Police are looking for 42 year old Joshua Kenneth Kohl who’s escaped from the Collins Bay Institution in Kingston.
The Correctional Service of Canada say staff discovered he was missing during a formal count on Tuesday.
Kingston Police have been contacted and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Kohl is serving an indeterminate sentence for Second Degree Murder.
