Big Brothers Big Sisters Golf For Kids Sake Returns

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Listowel is not slowing down at all, gearing up for 3rd annual Golf For Kids Sake next month.

The charity golf tournament running at the Listowel Golf Club directly supports Big Brothers Big Sisters to help them continue running programs and provide support for those on the waiting list.

Taking place on June 23rd from 9am-2pm, those who register will get a full 18 holes of golf, a cart, lunch and more soon to be announced extras.

Rhea Birk says last year they raised over $18,000 and look to improve this year over their previous amount.

“Every year we try to improve on the previous amount and sell out our team spots and so far we’re a third of the way filled and well on our way of meeting that goal” said Birk.

Those who register and pay their fees before May 31st will be entered to win two tickets for the Canadian Open.

Those who register are also welcome to share their fundraising page and collect as many donations as they can.

Registration is available here.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Listowel continues to be in need of board members and anyone interested in being a “Big” which can all be found from their website.
