OPP continue to remind residents to yield and pull over when safe for emergency vehicles.
On March 12th, a Wellington County OPP officer was monitoring traffic on Wellington Road 17 in Mapleton when at around 7:45pm, a grey sedan was seen not slowing down or moving with caution for an emergency vehicle.
As a result of investigation, a 23 year old from Wallenstein was charged with Failure to Slow Down and Proceed with Caution for Emergency Vehicle or Tow Truck contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
