The Western Ontario Wardens Caucus took time heading to Queens Park to chat with provincial leaders to advance this years advocacy priorities.
These meetings had a focus on infrastructure needed to support housing growth, strengthen homelessness response and advance regional transit solutions for rural and small urban communities across Western Ontario.
The Caucus met with Rob Flack, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Lisa Thompson, Minister of Rural Affairs, Todd McCarthy, Minister of Infrastructure and Sam Oosterhoff, Associate Minister of Energy Intensive Industries.
WOWC Chair Marcus Ryan says their focus is on practical, targeted solutions which help deliver housing, boost essential services and ensure people can move throughout the region to access jobs and opportunities.
